Did I write this, or was I guided by divine grace?
I do not know, because it was my long pending desire to pen down these thoughts. I tried a couple of times, but could not move my pen beyond two or three lines, even though my mind was bubbling with ideas.
This time, one incident triggered me to try again. It was the hunger to understand the nitty gritties of Karma Yoga. Why do some things not come our way even when we put our heart, mind, and soul into achieving them? If Karma Yoga is so powerful, why cannot karma alone take us where we want to go?
I did not want to read about it and forget it. I wanted to make sure the learning was applicable to other fields as well. So I chose my favorite subject, entrepreneurship, to see if these learnings could be applied directly in this domain.
I took inspiration from two sources:
While writing, I just opened my book or laptop, and the thoughts flowed easily. I never felt overwhelmed, tired, stressed, or in a race against time. It was just me, the Gita, and my medium of expression.
This entire process rewired my brain. I became calmer, more placid, and detached from many worldly materialistic things. There is no longer a rush driven by goals, but a deeper focus on doing the task in hand correctly. There are no expectations from the future, but a strong belief that “jo bhi hoga achcha hi hoga” and trust in the larger plan.
English is not my first language, so in some places you may notice incorrect usage of words. It is raw and unpolished and reflects exactly what I was thinking while writing. Later, with the right prompts, I used AI to fine tune the thoughts for better readability. You can choose the mode you prefer to read. It may be interesting to read the unfiltered version first and then the structured content.
Please do share your thoughts and interpretations in the comment box. I would love to hear different approaches and perspectives.
