Chapter 10 - Verse 28
आयुधानामहं वज्रं धेनूनामस्मि कामधुक् |
प्रजनश्चास्मि कन्दर्प: सर्पाणामस्मि वासुकि: || 28||

Translation

I am the thunderbolt (diamond) among all weapons. I am Kamadhuk
(wish fulfilling cow) among cows. I am Manmatha/Kandarpa (Cupid)
responsible for progeny. I am Vasuki among all single hooded serpents.

Unfiltered First Take

An entrepreneur should be ready to make many sacrifices during the journey. He should be mentally unbreakable. The journey is not easy, and there are many occasions when he may be pushed to the ground, yet even in those moments he should stand tall and keep the work going. He should work with the right speed and decisiveness. Firm decisions with unwavering determination, the ability to recognize right and wrong, and indestructible wisdom will help him lead the team effectively.

Like Kamadhenu, he should be in a position to support his people without letting them go hungry, symbolically meaning no shortage of essential resources. His business should become a place for those who join hands with him, a medium through which they can realize their dreams. He should be compassionate, a selfless giver, nourishing people’s dreams and providing abundance.

Like Kamadev, he should be creative in attracting the right people, resources, and customers by creating the right spark. He should continuously generate new ideas, new verticals, and new customer bases, essentially creating anything that expands the business. He should also create continuity plans so that when one arm or segment closes, the resources and energy are effectively channeled into another existing segment or, if needed, a new one.

Like Vasuki, he should be ready to grind himself to achieve the best outcomes. He should have a close circle of people who are well known in their domains and willing to associate with him and his business. He should focus equally on physical and mental health to withstand the grind of the entrepreneurial journey. He should remain positive, channel all energy towards growth, avoid negativity, and earn respect from people of all walks of life.

UdyamGita Interpretation

Krishna now reveals powers that strike, sustain, attract, and endure—the Vajra as indestructible force, Kamadhenu as limitless nourishment, Kaamdev as creative attraction, and Vasuki as the strength that enables great churning. Each represents a different kind of power required to sustain creation.

Together, they convey that true strength is not singular—it is decisive, nurturing, creative, and enduring.

Business Insight

Entrepreneurship is a journey of sacrifice and resilience.

Founders must be mentally unbreakable. The path is filled with moments where one is pushed down—financial stress, rejection, failure, and doubt. In those moments, entrepreneurs must stand tall, make firm decisions, and keep execution moving.

Like the Vajra, leadership requires decisiveness with wisdom. Speed matters, but so does judgment. The ability to distinguish right from wrong and act with unwavering determination keeps teams aligned even in chaos.

Entrepreneurs must also create abundance. Like Kamadhenu, the business should nourish those who commit to it. People should not feel starved of resources, growth, or opportunity. When the organization becomes a medium for realizing dreams, loyalty and ownership naturally emerge.

Leadership Lesson

Great founders attract, regenerate, and endure.

Like Kaamdev, entrepreneurs must spark attraction—drawing in the right talent, customers, and partners through creativity, vision, and originality. Expansion comes from continuously creating—new ideas, new verticals, new markets, or new customer bases.

Continuity is critical. When one arm of the business closes or slows, leaders must consciously redirect energy and resources—either into existing segments or by building new ones. This adaptive creativity sustains momentum.

Like Vasuki, entrepreneurs must be ready to grind—physically and mentally. The journey demands stamina. A close circle of trusted, domain-strong allies provides leverage and resilience. Equal focus on physical and mental health ensures longevity.

Respect earned across all walks of life becomes the silent asset that supports growth in difficult times.
