Chapter 10 - Verse 35
बृहत्साम तथा साम्नां गायत्री छन्दसामहम् |
मासानां मार्गशीर्षोऽहमृतूनां कुसुमाकर: || 35||

Translation

I am the Brihat hymn among all the hymns of the Sama Veda. I am
Gayatri among the poetic meters. I am Margasheersha (harvest month)
among the twelve months. I am Kusumakara/Vasantha (spring) among the
seasons.

Unfiltered First Take

Be the one who brings joy into the lives of people associated with you. Speak in a soft and convincing tone so that people listening to you naturally align with your vision. Always maintain a calm and composed mental state, and when you are in this state, it naturally spreads to the people around you. Do not make the running of the business boring or monotonous for others. Give people the space to run things their way, creatively and with a free mind.

Invoke the wisdom and knowledge of people around you and guide them with your own knowledge. Maintain a balanced attitude every day and every minute. The stability of the entrepreneur makes the environment conducive for people to grow. Keep processes light and the environment friendly so that everyone looks forward to coming to the office. Be approachable to everyone and clearly communicate how they can get in touch with you for specific reasons. Keep the mind stable and aim for higher consciousness and faith. Keep negativity away from your mind, body, the surrounding environment, and the business. Be a source of energy in a calm manner.

Like Margasheera, be the reason for people’s joy, abundance, and prosperity. Provide a balanced work environment where people can work, engage in community and related activities, and participate in practices that calm them, align them, and help build stronger mental strength. Show gratitude and devotion towards the business and people. Gain inner peace and outer abundance, and become the best opportunity for people to fulfill their wishes by associating with your business.

Like spring, be the one who changes lives by making them more comfortable, pleasing, and soothing. Be the reason for hope, growth, and fresh beginnings. Create an environment where people celebrate wins, gains, and progress. Build joyful, happy, and creative environments for collective abundance.

UdyamGita Interpretation

Krishna now points to what uplifts, renews, and brings joy—the most expansive hymn, the most sacred meter, the most auspicious month, and the most life-giving season. Brihatsama, Gayatri, Margashirsha, and Spring all share one essence: they awaken energy without agitation and create growth without force.

This verse shifts the focus from strength and discipline to harmony, freshness, and renewal.

Business Insight

Entrepreneurship flourishes where joy and calm coexist.

A founder should be a source of positive energy, not pressure. When entrepreneurs speak in a soft yet convincing tone, people align naturally with the vision. Calmness is contagious. A composed mental state spreads silently across the organization, stabilizing emotions and improving decision-making.

Business should never feel dull or monotonous. When people are given space to work creatively and own their methods, engagement rises. Freedom within boundaries transforms work from obligation into expression.

Entrepreneurs must also actively invoke the wisdom of others. Guiding people with knowledge rather than control elevates both capability and confidence.

Leadership Lesson

Stability at the center creates growth at the edges.

Balanced leaders—steady every day, every moment—create environments where people feel safe to grow. Light processes, friendly systems, and approachability make the workplace inviting. When employees look forward to coming to work, productivity becomes a byproduct of well-being.

Founders must remain accessible. Clear pathways for communication ensure that people know when and how to reach leadership. This openness builds trust and prevents silent friction.

Like Margashirsha, entrepreneurs should become a source of abundance—not only financially, but emotionally and socially. Balanced work environments, community engagement, and calming practices strengthen mental resilience and collective harmony.

Like Spring, leadership should renew lives—bringing hope, freshness, and new beginnings. Wins are celebrated, progress is acknowledged, and creativity is encouraged. Such cultures naturally attract commitment and loyalty.
